In America, some students apply early to universities to show it's their first choice. Early Decision is a promise—if they take you, you must go. Early Action is just an early reply.
But for us, this "promise" is a luxury. My choice isn't just about my favourite subject; it is about which university gives the best scholarship. How can I promise to go to one place when the fees are in crores? I saw my sister skip college for my schooling. My decision will wait for all the offer letters and the fee numbers at the bottom.
