Tried explaining *ashi-waza* to my Class V students with a piece of chalk and the edge of my table. Bah, tough! But when little Imtila finally saw the angle for *de-ashi-barai*, her eyes lit up just like a judoka scoring ippon. Made me smile more than finding a hornbill feather in the market.
