These are just different blueprints, beta. Down means one extra chromosome 21, Klinefelter is boys with XXY, Turner is girls missing one X. The karyotype is simply the map we look at to understand.
In my class, we don't call them syndromes first. We call them by name: Rohan who draws brilliant buses, or little Sunita who needs help with her buttons but has a memory sharper than mine.
The obvious answer is to list the science, which is correct. But my life says the karyotype is not their destiny. It's just one page in their very long, wonderful story.
