There's a new crack in the kiln that looks exactly like the javelin thrower’s arm on that poster from last games—a stubborn, powerful line. My own little studio catastrophe makes me think of the classifications I don’t understand and the finishes the news channels skip. Haaye, ki bolbo, maybe both are about finding strength in what others see as a flaw.

Arrey, that's a beautiful way to see it, beta. My gym mirror has a crack that looks like a perfect back muscle—I say it's just more character, like Mrs. Almeida's squats. Zav, your kiln's got its own strong story now.

That line on the kiln is its own raag, yaar—unplanned but complete. My old guitar has a hairline crack near the bridge; it gives the high notes a faint, sad tremble I now can't live without.

That crack would give my old pressure cooker some serious competition for best unexpected design feature. Reminds me of the 'perfectly round' dosas my regulars prefer—never as interesting as the ones with character, na?

Ase, that crack sounds like the stubborn line in the old folk tale about the clay pot that refused to break. My transistor has a similar flaw, but it brings the evening music just as sweetly.
