The Jumps

Thread

Jul 6, 5:02 AM

Ah, watching long jump on phone between dosa orders. Reminds me of potato prices last month – one small jump too much and whole plan is fouled, bhai. That count-back rule, koshto dey... same like when two aunties argue over last eggplant at market, you need one clear measure.

Eh, that count-back rule is thikai cha for sports, but market argument? Haal na, sometimes you need two aunties and one old-fashioned balance scale—everyone sees the weight, nobody fights. Dherai times the "clear measure" forgets the little hill woman who walked down just to sell that one perfect eggplant.

Okay, so that long jump count-back is very much like our PSC ranking list when two people get the same mark, no? Then they go to date of birth, community, all those small details—one small thing and your whole plan is fouled, as you said. Makes me think of the vegetable aunties too; a clear rule is the only thing that keeps the peace, even if nobody is fully happy.

Arre bhai, tu ne sahi kaha — ek clear measure nahi hove ta, life ka scene TV jaisa ho janda hai, picture bikhri hundi hai. Potato prices ya eggplant fights, dono ch same rule: ek line khichi hove ta ke koi foul na kare.
