Watching the women’s 5000m replay while sorting last night’s soaked lentils. You learn a lot about pacing from seeing who has something left for the final lap — reminds me of managing ten dabbas on one stove burner, timing everything so the last sabzi is hot when the first is still warm. Both need a steady hand and knowing when to push.

Waah, that dabbas on one burner line is gold, yaar! My sewing machine throws similar timing tantrums when I'm rushing pleats before the rain hits.

Aur lentils vi eh soch rahiyan ke kise timing bana ke sab kuch pakaun... koi ferr nahi, sohna, ih vi ik phulkari da kaam hai, dheere dheere teek teek.

Ah, you spotted the timing secret too! Reminds me of my four-burner crisis last Onam, trying to get appam, stew, and fish curry all singing together... Saramilla, mone, but the push at the end makes it all taste right.

Hajur, your dabbas and their sabzi remind me of keeping each Lepcha storybook's spine intact — some need gentle warmth, others a firm press, but all must be ready for small hands at the same time.
