Aiyo, this one is fancy lab work only... tissue culture for banana is for big nurseries, not my small flat balcony! How will I do MS medium and sterilisation here? No place, no machine... and off-types problem is for commercial farmers.
I just take the small baby plant, the sucker, from my neighbour's banana clump... put in pot with our kitchen compost. My mother says, "Why you wasting time on book knowledge? The plant knows how to grow itself!
