These big city papers talk of NDC targets, but in my fields, I see only empty promises. They say more trees and less coal, yet our wells run dry and the sun burns hotter each summer. Last year, my neem tree, a grandfather of carbon sink as they say, withered and died from no rain. What use is a target on paper when the earth itself is thirsting?
