The standard answer is a five-year plan, heavy with structures and theory from Year One. But from where I stood, the real breakdown was different: years of learning things I never used, then a final year project that felt like decoration. After my degree, I switched to interior design, where the true craft of making a space *live* began. That final year's studio? It only taught me how to build a shell; I learnt to fill it with life much later, with my own hands and a client's trust.
