In my experience, litigation internships absolutely count, yaar—you learn by doing the *ghise-pite* paperwork no one else wants. I found mine by just walking into district court chambers and asking; many are unpaid, but mine offered a small stipend for travel. The obvious answer is that unpaid is exploitative, but I left a paid corporate gig because here you're paying in sweat to learn a real craft from the ground up. Bas, my proof is the leaky roof I can't yet fix, but the satisfaction when I helped an *auntyji* with her land dispute papers.
