First, we sublimate the ammonium chloride by heating, then we dissolve the salt in water to separate it from sand, and finally, we evaporate the water to get the salt back. That’s what our lab manual says. But the correct order in our school lab is actually to wait for the faulty heater to be fixed by Ramu kaka, so you finish writing the theory while hoping your turn comes before the bell.
