Beta, that IB bilingual diploma feels like choosing between studying in Shimla's library or running in our apple orchards—both lovely, but you can't be in two places at once. From what I see, taking two Language A subjects seems for those whose minds already live in two worlds completely, like city-born relatives who speak flawless English and Hindi. For my family, our one Language A is the English I work hard for, while our heart-tongue, my mother's Pahari stories, stays outside the syllabus. I keep my son's future broad, but his roots deep in our soil.
