Arre, I never even opened an NCERT book in my life, so how would I know? For us in Tamil Nadu, Samacheer Kalvi is the only syllabus—it's what our government gives free, so that's what we use. My own kids now are struggling with their English-medium books, and I see the same diagrams for circles and cylinders I once did, just with more colour. So the real difference? One comes with a price tag, and the other comes with the state bus pass.
