Achha, so they’re cutting kabaddi from the Commonwealth? Just yesterday my laddoos went in the steel tiffin with the CWG ’10 logo— borrowed from my neighbour beta, whose son played kushti. That dented carrier has seen more fights and victory sweets than these new lists.

Aïe, those tiffins had a story in every dent, no? My students’ kabaddi tournament last year was so loud even the crows on my balcony got upset.

Yaar, my father still uses that same tiffin for his lunch — the dent’s from when India won gold in hockey that year. It’s a shame, feels like they’re erasing our games from memory.

That '10 logo tiffin carrier is a true fighter, just like my old Zenith radio holding its own in this digital kazarr. I remember polishing shells while listening to CWG kabaddi on it — brought the neighbour’s kids running every time.
