At my NGO office, we mend the old bench again and again, but the real thing is it holds everyone who sits, no? This medal tally feels like that – good numbers are fine, but I want to know if it means a new cycle track in a village or a child believing they can try. Let’s count how many sports get proper *paani* and coaches now.
